Dr. Dolina Gencheva is a cardiology specialist located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria with 7 years of experience in the field. She has experience in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of arterial hypertension, heart failure, rhythm and conduction disturbances, ischemic heart disease, cardiomyopathies, hypertension in pregnancy, dyslipidemias. Performs ECG, echocardiography, (incl. transesophageal echocardiography, global longitudinal strain), HolterECG, veloergometry. With the possibility to consult in English. Dr. Gencheva does not examine children. Dr. Gencheva graduated from Medical University - Plovdiv with excellent academic success in 2014. Since the beginning of 2015 and to this day she works at the university multi-profile hospital “Sv. Georgi” in Plovdiv and is part of the Clinic of Cardiology team. She has been an assistant professor in Cardiology at Medical University – Plovdiv since 2017. In 2021, the was awarded the educational ad scientific title PhD on the topic "Assessment of changes in cardiac structure and function in pregnant women with preeclampsia and gestational hypertension". Received an award of the Bulgarian Medical Union in 2018. She has attended numerous courses in the field of echocardiography and cardiology. She has participated with presentations in Bulgarian and international forums in the field of cardiology, and is the author and co-author of publications in Bulgarian and international magazines. Member of: Bulgarian Medical Union Company of Cardiologists in Bulgaria European Society of Cardiology Heart Failure Specialists of Tomorrow (HoT)
