General Questions
- What is Healee?With Healee, you can quickly and easily connect with a doctor to get reliable health consultation through your mobile device (smartphone or tablet), no matter where you are. You can also use Healee on a computer at app.healee.com
- How do I connect and talk to a doctor in Healee?
In Healee, you can browse a rich list of doctors with different specialties and experience. Once you find the specialist you need, you can request an online consultation.
If the specialist you need is not on the list, you can invite them to start using Healee. The platform allows you to keep in touch with your doctor or any doctor you choose. The doctor just needs to download Healee MD, our mobile app for doctors, and you can connect by entering the doctor's code in Healee.
Additionally, you can reach out to doctors from a wide range of specialties, which we periodically enrich.
- How does the consultation work?
After you connect with a specialist, you can describe your problem and request an online consultation. Before the consultation, the doctor may ask you for additional information – medical history, lab results, images. Then the doctor will respond with information about your condition, along with therapeutic advice.
You will receive a response within 16 to 48 hours, depending on the response speed you choose. If during the consultation the doctor decides you need some medication, he or she can prescribe it.
If you haven't already done so when you registered, we will ask you to fill in your name and age. Depending on local regulations, this information is needed to create a valid prescription.
- What communication channels are available?You can talk to a doctor via chat, audio, or live video call.
- What else can Healee do for me?You can use the available electronic health record functionality to enter and track all your past and present health conditions and symptoms, describe treatments, enter medications and plan their intake, check drug interactions, their effects on allergies, attach lab results and imaging, and view your information with the help of charts and reports.
Payments
- Do I have to pay for the online consultation?
Yes. Depending on the complexity of your problem, the doctor needs to spend time and skills to analyze all the information you have provided and to provide a comprehensive, complete answer that addresses all aspects of your question.
Moreover, the doctor may be busy with live consultations or you may have contacted them outside of working hours.
- How are payments made?
To start the consultation, you need to accept the request and enter the necessary payment information. Please note that this is not an actual payment.
This is a check to ensure that your card has sufficient funds. The actual payment is made after the doctor has reviewed your case and responded.
- How much does a consultation with a doctor cost?
If you seek a consultation from a doctor you found and connected with through Healee, the price will vary for each doctor. In all cases, the price will be clearly indicated in the doctor's profile, and you will be able to see it before you contact the doctor.
- What forms of payment does Healee accept?You can pay for the consultation with a valid debit or credit card (Mastercard or Visa).
- Can I cancel a consultation request?No. Once you send the request, you cannot cancel it.
- In what cases can I get a refund?
If you seek a consultation from a doctor you found and connected with through Healee, but subsequently, despite being marked as "Online", the doctor does not respond within 48 hours of accepting the payment request, we will release the funds on your card, and you will not be charged.
Security
- Is my personal and health information safe?
Yes. The confidentiality of your health and personal data is a priority for us.
Even we do not have access to sensitive information that could potentially reveal your identity. We do not have access to the images and messages in your profile that you exchange with doctors.
This information is stored encrypted on our servers, and besides you and the doctors you explicitly allow access to, no one else can see it. For more information about security, see our Privacy Policy
- Is my credit/debit card information secure?Healee does not store information about your credit or debit cards. This information is managed by a third party that also manages the payment processes, complying with standards for the protection of financial data processing and storage.
Prescriptions
- Can doctors prescribe medications through Healee?
Yes. If during the consultation the doctor decides you need some medication, he or she can prescribe it. If you haven't already done so when you registered, we will ask you to fill in your name and age. Depending on local regulations, this information is needed to create a valid prescription.
